Peggy's Story
Hello to all!
First off I need to say I truly missed all of you from All Souls & San Gabriel Mission High. The Classmate website can really bring you back to the day. It almost feels like a new beginning -to what once felt like the end.
Anyway here is a very short version to my life in which would proba
My family moved duryear at Mission High. It was a very hard move for me- I missed my friends, my neighborhood and California in general. At my new high school they didn¿t have a drill team so¿ I talked to the principal and asked if we could start one. We got the ok & his wife was our trainer. And guess what all you 1978 grads of Mission High? I named the team after you/us
The Majestic¿s!!! So many years ago¿
After graduating I married & moved blessed with my son Nick, now 29. Nick & I moved back to MN.
I went back to school for Small Business Management /busines
Employment has been in a couple different fields¿ I was a Blackjack dealer /Pit Boss for around five years. Management/ Bookkeeping / Accountant assistant for many years.
I met Larry in 1989. He¿s a fun guy with a great sense of humor. Larry was a lineman when we met and now is the Superintendent ...Expand for more
of MMU (no more climbing poles) He is also a judge for an event called the Lineman¿s Rodeo. A competition of time, accuracy & skill in the Lineman field.
Arica, our daughter was born in 1991 & will be that magical age of 18 this year. She has worked at a deli called Toni¿s Depot sense she was 15 & really enjoys it. She will be graduating in 2010 and going to school for Physical Therapy. She is a wonderful young lady with a very caring heart- I believe her career choice will suit her just fine. The one thing I¿m not looking forward to is being an empty nester!! Is there such a thing as the Empty Nester Club?
Nick was a scaffolder for around 10 years in Minneapolis, MN. He continues to give me gray hair even after moving out & living on his own¿ Let¿s just say -he¿d call home to share with the family he was working 160 stories today!! The grays not only sprouted they stood on end! Currently he has gone to Florida and fell in love! To be continued
Some of our enjoyments in life are hunting, fishing, camping & traveling. Highlights are going to Poison concerts and NASCAR races.
All for now! Remember to- Live well, Laugh often and Love much
A friend, Peggy
